Adobe Animate - Show Reel 2018/19

Adobe Animate was definitely a challenge for me. Coming from a more 3D background it was hard in the beginning to think in a 2D way. Within the course I have learned how to bring various things to life with just a white background and a black outline. But what seems to be so easy takes a long time. In order to create something that looks naturally you first need to understand what natural looks like. Therefore taking pictures or videos of your classmates as a reference was a great way to understand the weird physic behaviours of a human being and the power of gravity. Working on a 2D animation definitely makes you appreciate 2D animated films even more, and on the other hand makes you love Maya for not having to draw 24 images per seconds. Even though everything was very time consuming I enjoyed the lessons more than I originally expected.
