Contexts OGR

Here is my Contexts OGR and the further research I did. However I am not quite sure about my case-studies yet, which is why I don`t have a complete introduction or conclusion just yet. I also did not connect the different paragraphs yet, since it is more a collection of sources. For my final essay I have to look into more films to connect them to my points.

Hey Vincent - wow, okay, so you've done your reading obviously and you've got a HUGE amount of information here, loads of ground to cover, and probably about 4 or 5 2000 word assignments contained in here! You've got a chapter structure in there - which is unusual/unwelcome in a 2000 word assignment, but it's organising your research, I can see... Considering you haven't picked a film yet, or even got into the close analysis of the scenes/dialogue/moments etc. I think you need to pick a single strand from your research and build an argument around it - in the knowledge that you've probably broken the seal on your 8000 word thesis!

Some suggestions would be to pick one of the clearest gay tropes and explore that very specifically - which would allow you to fold in a number of your research areas outlined here ... so 'the sissy' exclusively, for example - so 'This assignment will examine the representation of gay men in Hollywood cinema, focusing specifically on the sissy...' - This would mean you'd be able to talk in general terms about representation, and then specifically sissy as 'funny' and then similarly about the intersection between 'sissy' and heteronormative gender formulations...

You could swap out the 'sissy' for the 'criminal/sadist/psychopath' obviously, or indeed any of the other tropes - but I guess my general bit of advice would be... don't try and do everything in the short space of 2000 words.
