WIM City Composition Ideas
Today I created two rough shots for my WIM city.
I played around with two different compositions: Shot one includes a chocolate river and shot two is looking up a hill. Both shots don`t have a lot of objects in the back around the hero building just yet.
Any help regarding the angle, composition, ground and use of objects would be greatly appreciated!

Evening Vincent... So, I think it's composition no 1 for sure... but I think you should bring some of those cherries from Comp 2 into the foreground of 1 to add interest to the empty space in front of the donut...
ReplyDeleteI think you need to move the little lamppost on the left further away from the donut, so it sits in the 'middle' of the gap (and delete the cherry).
I also think you need to completely litter the area in front of the temple with many more items... and use them to create the path to the temple, rather like a mown path in a meadow....

I think you've got to fill that large generic space with your abandoned objects and use them to create the path that leads our eye to the temple - even more surreal, even more cluttered :)
