Evening Vincent - okay - well done on getting this written and published. So - I've got some style 'nit-picks' for you!
1) 'Movie' is actually a slang word for 'moving pictures' - in this sense, the word 'movie' is too chatty and casual for academic writing. In this context, you should always use the word 'film'.
2) You need to give 'German' a capital 'G' always (the same would be for any country, as in 'French cinema' or 'English cinema' or so on...
3) Take a look at this guide for using apostrophes:
You're using 'it's' incorrectly in this review - as in 'the movie was ahead of it's time' - I know why you're using it here, because you're saying the 'time' belongs to the 'the film' - but there is no apostrophe after 'it' to show belonging - it's just one of those grammar rules. When you write - 'the movie was ahead of it's time' you're actually writing 'the movie was ahead of it is time', which doesn't read correctly.
4) You still need to include citations after your quotes, which you don't do for example for the Le Corbusier quote.
5) Looks like I've confused you re. film titles and italics. Here, you seem to put the film title between quotation marks - "Metropolis" but then put the name of the city in the film in italics? You also go on to put Art Deco, Bauhaus etc in italics - which you don't need to do!
6) Another review in English written by a native German speaker - impressive :)
I'll just add that in your bibliography, the authors should be arranged alphabetically with the surname first, so for example - Alfaya, J.F Dalrymple, T. Quinones, R.
